1. What kinds of conflict does the plot of the story “Mosquito” include? Read the example from the story and make an analysis.

“Andrew started to jog across the field, deciding that in any case, it would be better to get in and out quickly before anyone, or anything, could spot him in the open. He stumbled often, for the field was deeply furrowed where, in preparation for planting winter wheat, the razor-disks had sliced it open and the plow had turned it over. Halfway across the field, his foot caught on some stubble, and he went sprawling onto the moist earth. He lay there for some minutes, on the verge of tears, wishing he were home. He thought of turning around and going back, past the tent, to their house beyond the swell, but he discarded the idea as he had before. Then he thought he might urinate in the cup, for his present dilemma had well-prepared him for the function, but he knew he could never pass it off as stream water---they would smell its peculiar salty bitterness. He worked himself to his knees, stood up, and without brushing off, continued his jog to the forest.
